Buillion + Coins

Bullion Plus coins are designed for investors and collectors.  They fall into two categories; Classic and Modern coins. Both categories are usually made with gold or silver, but they can also be minted in other metals as well.  Bullion Plus are in high demand by smart investors because these coins are of high quality, limited supply, or both. Due to their increasing scarcity and quality, these Bullion Plus coins carry a slight premium. Many savvy investors own Bullion plus coins because they offer many additional benefits, i.e. diversification, rarity, beauty, limited mintage, and privacy.

Classic Coins:

Classic Bullion Plus coin were minted by a government, either recently or struck over a 100 years ago. Typically the modern coins sold in this category are of higher quality than commonly produced ones.  The historic Classic coins vary in size and quality.  However, one great advantage is that since most of the gold coins where produced before 1933, they are considered ‘collectable’ and have certain additional privacy benefits that many investors find appealing.

Modern Coins:

Most Modern coins are made of gold, silver, or platinum and minted by a sovereign government. Modern coins include a large variety of different types of coins. Proof coins are among the most popular types of Modern Coins. Proof coins are similar to standard business strike coins (how modern bullion is made), but when the coin is forged the die striking the coin has a special luster.  This luster gives Proof coins a beautifully reflective, mirror-like surface (click here to learn more about how a coin is made). These Modern coins can come in protective holders certified by a third party grading service as to their grade and authenticity.  Others come in a luxurious case straight from the mint, numbered and certified.  Modern coins are valued primarily on the precious metal (gold, silver, or platinum) content plus a small premium because of that strong demand from investors and collectors.  These coins are great for investors and collectors, but also make beautiful gifts.
