As America's official platinum bullion coin, these 1-ounce American Eagle Platinum Bullion Coins give investors an easy way to take advantage of platinum as a precious metal investment.
The coin pictured is a representation of our uncirculated 1oz Platinum Eagle bullion coins. The dates of the coins you receive will vary. Mint State Gold selects the dates you receive and feels confident you will be very pleased with the selections.
Authorized by Congress in 1996 and first issued in 1997, they are the first and only official investment-grade platinum coins from the United States Government and the only platinum bullion coin whose weight, content and .9995 purity are guaranteed by the U. S. Government.
These Brilliant Uncirculated Platinum Eagle coins are breathtaking. The obverse, designed by John M. Mercanti, displays Lady Liberty along with the year, 'In God We Trust' and 'E Pluribus Unum' mottos. The reverse, designed by Thomas D. Rogers Sr., depicts a majestic Eagle with wings spread, soaring proudly over a setting (or rising) sun.
Platinum, the most precious of the precious metals is often referred to as “The Rich Man's Gold”. Platinum is relatively scarce even among the precious metals and is typically more expensive by weight than gold, mostly due to its scarcity.
Since this is a QUOTE ONLY bullion item we will contact you within 1 business day with the final price (based on current market spot price) and to obtain payment information. Accepted payment methods for bullion purchases are e-check, cashier's check, or bank wire transfer only.
Bullion item prices are based on the current precious metal market spot prices. Bullion prices fluctuate, just like the market. Once we contact you with your final item price, and you accept, the price cannot be renegotiated based on what the market may do in the following days. You may, however, sell your bullion items back to us based on current market bid prices if you like. Bullion purchases are just like stock purchases and all trades are final.
