The A&A Saint Gaudens Collection is an award-winning set that took over 15 years to build. The Saint Gaudens coin series was released in the United States from 1907 to 1932 and is considered to possibly be the most beautiful coin ever released by the US Mint. For this reason, many serious coin collectors admire and search for these coins to this day, more than 111 years after they were first released. The Saint Gaudens series is the #1 most desired U.S. coin pre-1933 series of serious gold coin collectors today. This A&A Saint Set is currently one of the finest sets of Saint Gaudens coins ever assembled. A Letter to Potential Bidders

Dear eBay bidder –

The exquisitely beautiful “A&A $20 Saints Collection” being offered for sale in an eBay auction starting March 29th, 2018 represents a rare opportunity to acquire an entire 52-coin set of historic U.S. Double Eagle gold coins.

The Double Eagle gold coin design was created by acclaimed sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens at the request of President Teddy Roosevelt. It is one of the most beautiful and desired designs ever produced by the United States Mint. Collectors today simply and reverently refer to this distinctive series as “Saints.” The A&A Saints Collection contains 21 coins that are either the finest known of their kind or tied for finest known. Plus, 10 of these historic coins previously belonged in the most renowned collections assembled over the decades by some of the country’s most respected collectors.

The set’s current owner carefully and selectively assembled this incredible collection over 15 years and is so proud of it he wants to sell it intact. Based on its extremely high quality, my expert opinion is that the winning eBay auction bid for the A&A $20 denomination Saints Collection could easily exceed $8 million.

The winning bidder of this investment quality collection will have the privilege of joining a truly elite club of the most-respected collectors in the rare coin community. In addition, Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) will let the proud new owner rename the extraordinary collection to personalize the pedigree listing on the popular PCGS Set Registry®.

PCGS has certified each of these coins for authenticity and grade. PCGS has certified more than 38 million coins with a combined market value of over $32 billion and is one of the most respected rare coin authentication services in the world.

To the future owner, I say: “Congratulations, and enjoy taking your rightful place in history as one of the greatest coin collectors today!”

Sincerely,

Barry Stuppler

Information about the PQ and CAC stickers, the PNG, and CoinStats

About the PQ sticker

A PQ (Premium Quality) sticker is awarded to rare coins that pass a strict grading standard created by Barry Stuppler, a well-known and highly respected dealer with over 50 years of experience in the numismatic industry. The founder of the PQ Approved sticker, Mr. Barry Stuppler, is a former President of the American Numismatic Association, the country’s largest coin association, where he focused on consumer protection. Barry is also one of the original supporters of the first major grading service, The Professional Coin and Grading Service (PCGS). Barry has a long history of helping collectors and investors to build several of the highest quality and most expensive collections of investment quality rare coins in the world!

Based on Barry’s experience and expertise he has developed a stringent set of grading standards for PCGS/NGC capsulated coins that when met, those exceptional coins are awarded the esteemed GOLD PQ STICKER. The stringent standards for being awarded a GOLD PQ STICKER are based on the strong desirability of these coins to both beginning and experienced collectors/investors in rare coins. Buyers have shown they want well-struck rare coins that have brilliant surfaces and no planchet problems or die defects. This criteria is not considered by other services that offer stickers, and makes finding a coin with a GOLD PQ STICKER a true beauty to have.

When a coin is given the honor of a PQ sticker it ensures that a collector/investor is buying only the highest quality coin, which historically has proven to offer the best appreciation and liquidity compared to similar non-PQ graded coins.

For details, population reports, and coin submission information, please visit the PQ Approved website at www.PQApproved.com.

About the CAC sticker

What is CAC?
CAC (Certified Acceptance Corporation) is a prestigious certification awarded to coins that meet a set of grading standards set by John Albanese with regards to the coins originality. Mr. Albanese is the founder of CAC, a leading member of the numismatic community, and an authority on coin grading.

Why buy a CAC coin?
For quality-conscious collectors, dealers, and investors, a green CAC sticker on an encapsulated coin has significant meaning and CAC coins often command a premium over their contemporary counterparts.

About the Auction

1. How do I bid on this set?

It’s simple. All you need is a free eBay User ID and to submit a request to bid. You can do both by submitting your name, email, and phone number in the “Want to Bid” section near the top of this page. We will be happy to assist you in completing the process. It won’t take much more than a 10-15-minute phone call and/or a few emails to complete the entire pre-qualification process.

2. After the auction begins can I still bid even if I’m not pre-qualified?

Yes. The eBay listing will be subject to prequalified bidders only. This is a security verification measure given the high profile and high value nature of this listing. The seller reserves the right to reject requests to bid or cancel already approved bids at its sole discretion and conduct further screening of bidders, including requesting additional documentation on the ability to make payment as well as request a deposit via PayPal or credit card before being allowed to bid/continue bidding, regardless of eBay feedback history.

3. What is the auction reserve price?

To be fair to all bidders on the eBay platform we do not disclose the auction reserve price for this outstanding set. The reserve price will be disclosed to any bidder once a bid is placed that meets or exceeds the reserve. The reserve price must be met in order for the item to be allowed to sell.

4. Is some of the money going to charity?

Yes, the Set Owner and Mint State Gold have selected Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, the ALS Association, and the coin Anti-Counterfeiting Educational Foundation to split a percentage of the winning sale price between these three organizations. We are proud of each of these entities for what they do and feel that they deserve every penny of the money they’ll receive.

5. How does the winning bidder pay for the set?

After the set has met the reserve and is sold on eBay, the lucky winner will be given bank wiring instructions for payment. Most domestic bank wires take 1-2 business days to clear. International bank wires may take an additional couple of business days for clearance.

6. How is the set delivered to the new owner?

After successful payment has been received and cleared, the new owner has two options in taking delivery of their set. First, the owner can come to Los Angeles, California and meet with Mr. Stuppler to take delivery personally. The other option is to have it delivered by Armed Transport to the business address of their choosing.

7. Can the new owner rename the A&A Saint Gaudens Set anything they want?

Yes, all owners who compete against each other on the PCGS Collectors Registry have the option to name their collection anything they wish. Many collections are named after things that have special meaning to the set owner such as a spouse or child’s name, a nickname, or even a favorite childhood memory. The choice is completely up to the new owner. We will gladly send the set back to PCGS for the new owner (at dealer cost) if the new owner chooses to rename the set and have their collection’s name put on the holder of each coin in the set. Mint State Gold will also maintain the set on the PCGS Collectors registry on the new owner’s behalf at no additional charge.
