GOLD
This morning in Asian markets Gold saw lots of Chinese bargain buying, as the Chinese returned from their holiday. That, along with a weaker Dollar, has given Gold a boost. Right now, Gold is trading at $1,282, after reaching a high of $1,285 earlier. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,282 per ounce, up $8 on active volume.
SILVER
Silver continues last Friday’s rally, reaching a high of $17.02 in early morning trading. For most of today’s trading, Silver has been in the $16.90 to $16.96 range, building a base for a strong push above the key $17 per ounce resistance level. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.17 per ounce, trading at $16.92 on healthy volume.
