GOLD

Gold traded today between $1,816 to $1,833 as it continues to build a base for the next leg higher. The 10-Year Treasuries and U.S. Dollar are trading unchanged from current levels, giving little or no direction to precious metals. At 11am PT today, Gold is $1,827 per ounce, up $2 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver broke down in overnight Asian trading, reaching a low of $20.58 before seeing massive bargain buying. That buying took the price back above the $21 level and the price has held firm since. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.06 per ounce, trading at $21.18 on normal volume.
