Gold & Silver Prices Holding In Tight Trading
GOLD
April U.S. Consumer Sentiment was reported today, and it was a record low of 47.8, falling from 53.3 in March. Plus, U.S. March CPI jumped 0.9%. These reports, plus a lower U.S. dollar, helped the Gold price reach a high of $4,795 this morning.
At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $4,763 per ounce, down $23 on average volume.
SILVER
For the most part of today’s Silver trading, the price has stayed above $76 per ounce. Fresh buying in India and the U.S. helped keep the Silver price above the $76 per ounce level.
At 11am PT today, Silver is unchanged at $76.20 per ounce.
