Description

Presenting a 2016-W $50 American Gold Buffalo Proof, graded PR70DCAM First Strike by PCGS in the Bison label holder. Produced at the West Point mint, this perfect Gold proof features razor-sharp devices set against icy smooth fields. The details are literally flawless and the surfaces reflect the vibrant Deep Cameo Proof luster so coveted by avid collectors. This 2016-W Gold Proof Buffalo bullion coin is truly breathtaking to behold and will be a treasured addition to any collection or portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
