This Privacy Policy describes how Mint State Gold (“Mint State Gold,” “MSG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information relating to visitors and users. 1. Applicability
Certain U.S. states offer privacy rights. This Policy explains those rights and MSG’s practices.
2. Information We Collect
Includes the following categories of information:
- Account information (name, email, address, login credentials, communication preferences)
- Transaction and order information (coin and bullion purchases))
- Payment data processed through PCI-compliant third-party processors
- Customer service interactions (emails, calls, request logs)
- Device and analytics information (IP address, browser, device type, cookie identifiers, pages viewed)
- Portfolio tools, watchlists, valuation inputs, saved items, and user notes
Information From Optional Linkage With CoinFolio:
If you maintain accounts on both services and affirmatively choose to link them:
• CoinFolio → MSG: We may receive your CoinFolio portfolio entries, coin types, quantities, images, valuation data, pricing metadata, and necessary account identifiers.
• MSG → CoinFolio: CoinFolio may receive your MSG purchases (coins and bullion), updated holdings, quantities, valuations, and collection changes you make in MSG.
Linkage:
• is bi-directional once enabled;
• is governed by MSG’s Privacy Policy once data is imported into MSG;
• does not enable trading or buying through CoinFolio;
• may be unlinked at any time, stopping new data flows between services.
3. Use of Information
We use information to operate the storefront, process and fulfill orders, display valuations, personalize recommendations, ensure security, comply with law, provide marketing communications, and—if accounts are linked—synchronize portfolio data across MSG and CoinFolio.
4. Sharing Information
Shared with service providers (payment processors, shipping carriers, hosting providers, analytics vendors), affiliates including CoinFolio (only if linked), legal authorities if required, and during business transfers. Pricing is updated regularly via our network connection with various pricing platforms. We are also obliged to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) rules for financial services firms, and this necessarily involves the provision of certain account opening data and potentially certain transactions to third parties for legal compliance. Sharing of identifiers with analytics partners may constitute “sharing” under the CPRA.
5. Optional Linkage With CoinFolio.com
You may choose to link your MSG and CoinFolio accounts. Linking is:
• intra-company, as both services are operated by Stuppler & Company, Inc.;
• bi-directional, meaning portfolio changes and updated valuations may flow in both directions.
Once linked:
• CoinFolio may send portfolio entries, valuations, pricing metadata, quantities, and images to MSG;
• MSG may send your newly purchased coins and bullion, updated holdings, and valuation changes to CoinFolio.
Linking does not enable CoinFolio to process or facilitate purchases or sales.
6. Data Retention
Information is retained as long as necessary for account maintenance, transactions, compliance, tax obligations, and security. Linked portfolio data follows MSG’s retention schedule unless deletion is requested.
7. Your Rights
Includes rights of access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out of sale/sharing, limit sensitive personal information, appeal, and non-retaliation. Requests may be submitted to [email protected]. MSG honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.

MSG uses cookies for authentication, analytics, personalization, and advertising. See our Cookie Policy.
9. Data Security
MSG maintains reasonable safeguards including TLS encryption and PCI-compliant processors.
10. Children
MSG is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from such individuals.
11. Third-Party Links
MSG is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites linked from our services.
12. Changes
This Policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date.
