Daily Market Report 8/12/13

GOLD

The bulls are back and the shorts are running for cover this morning in the Gold pits. Gold opened in Asia this morning up $1,325 and kept on moving higher. Considering this is the normally weak summer months, Gold demand has been exceptionally strong.

At 11am PDT, Gold is up $20.40 per ounce, trading at $1,336 per ounce on excellent volume.

SILVER

Silver opened higher this morning and was brought above $21 per ounce on excellent demand.

Inflationary news out of Asia is very helpful for the price of Silver.

At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $21.51 per ounce, up $0.85 per ounce on heavy volume.
