Precious metals seeing a small correction

GOLD

After a sharp selloff in the U.S. equity markets and an excellent increase in the precious metals price yesterday, we are seeing a small correction. Today, the Dow Jones and U.S. Dollar are up slightly and the Gold/Silver prices have corrected from yesterday’s close. At 11am PDT today, Gold is down $8 per ounce, trading at $1,335 on normal volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a low of $16.32 per ounce this morning, then buyers appeared, driving the price back up to $16.45. At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $16.43, down $0.21 per ounce on normal volume.
