GOLD

A stronger U.S. dollar and higher treasury yields are keeping the pressure on the price of Gold this morning. Gold hit a low of $1,261 this morning before finding heavy bargain buying. At 11am PDT today, Gold is unchanged, trading at $1,265 per ounce.

SILVER

Silver hit a low of $17.38 per ounce today. That’s over $1.00 less than last week’s high. Many professional traders shorted Silver when it broke below $18 last week. These traders are now starting to purchase, covering their short sales. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.13, trading at $17.47 per ounce.
