Gold on defensive this morning

This morning, with the U.S. Dollar and interest rates moving higher, Gold has been on the defensive. Gold hit a low of $1,310 per ounce on active trading, while seeing heavy demand. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,318 per ounce, down $4 on heavy volume.

SILVER

Silver led Gold lower this morning, with Silver reaching a low of $16.16 per ounce. Buyers appeared at that level, taking the price back above $16.28. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.14 per ounce, trading at $16.38 on excellent volume.
