GOLD

Gold traded in a narrow $6 high/low range today, from $1,252 to $1,258 per ounce. Worldwide trading volume in futures, options and physical was excellent. $1,250 has acted as an excellent support level. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,256 per ounce, unchanged from yesterday on active volume.

SILVER

In early trading, Silver briefly broke back above the important $17 per ounce level, reaching $17.03, but couldn’t hold the rally. It’s important that Silver does move back and closes above $17 by end of week. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.04 per ounce, trading at $16.82 on normal volume.
