Gold is treading water in the $1,226 to $1,236 price range, awaiting direction from the results of Sunday’s French election. It appears that the pro-Euro candidate, Emmanuel Macron is clearly ahead in the polls. We should see the effects on precious metals Sunday evening. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,228 per ounce, down $1 on average volume.

SILVER

Today, Silver is again following Gold’s price direction. Silver has traded in the $16.21 to $16.54 per ounce trading range. At 11am PDT today, silver is down $0.02, trading at $16.29 per ounce on normal volume.
