Gold is trading in a narrow $6 high/low range today, between $1,260 & 1,254 per ounce. Gold continues to consolidate while building a base for the next leg higher. Trading volume is dropping off, which is normal ahead of a long holiday weekend. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,255 per ounce, up $2 on normal volume.
SILVER
Today, Silver is holding up well above the key $17 per ounce support level. The Silver/Gold ratio is still above a 73-to-1, favoring Silver for the next leg up. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.05 per ounce, trading at $17.16 on average volume.
