Gold opened higher in Asian markets and kept moving up, reaching a high of $1,269 in U.S. Markets. The next major resistance level would be the 2017 high of $1,297.40 per ounce. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,267 per ounce, up $12 on normal Friday volume.

SILVER

This morning Silver followed Gold higher, reaching a high of $17.41 per ounce before seeing some light weekend profit taking. As we approach June, I remember how explosive Silver behaved in June of 2016. Silver traded at $15.92 per ounce on June 1, 2016, and by July 5, 2016 Silver had reached a high of $21.23. That’s a $5.31 increase (33%) in just a little over a month, WOW. At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $17.32 per ounce, up $0.16 on average volume.
