The Gold price has moved up gradually

The Gold price has moved up gradually, from July 7th at $1,212 per ounce to today with Gold trading at $1,246 per ounce. A weaker U.S. Dollar (down 8% in 2017) has been a major contributor to the $34 Gold increase in just 9 trading days. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,245 per ounce, up $3 on average volume.

SILVER

Surprisingly, Silver reached a low of $16.12 per ounce this morning. At that point investors, traders, and bargain buyers appeared and quickly took the price up $.20 per ounce. For most of today’s trading, Silver has been between $16.30 and $16.40 per ounce. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.04 per ounce, trading at $16.36 on normal volume.
