Trading activity is fairly uneventful given the lack of any major news topics affecting the markets. Gold is slightly down on good volume, but it’s not by much, as the US Dollar is slightly up (only by about 0.3% currently). At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,226, down $7 on good volume.

SILVER

It looks like technical traders are trading Silver right now, as it is also slightly down today, testing the $15.50 level. Activity isn’t that high and it appears Silver is also having a quiet day given the lack of anything major happening in the markets. At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $15.50, down $0.14 on slightly below average volume.
