The yellow metal is up from Hong Kong trading hours, but is still just slightly down from yesterday. Summer trading means the activity and price is fairly quiet, and Gold is holding well above its $1,218 bottom. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,223, down $2 on slightly above average volume.
SILVER
Silver is also slightly up from Hong Kong trading hours and also slightly up from yesterday. Again, it’s July and normal quiet summertime trading. At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $15.56, up $0.02 on average volume.
