Gold broke through the short term resistance level

GOLD

Gold broke through the $1,280 short term resistance level today and is continuing higher. Yesterday Gold rallied after President Trump’s warning to North Korea triggered a run to safety for investors, as stocks and U.S. Treasury yields fell. Tensions between the U.S. and North Korea continue to prompt short-covering in the markets and Gold is definitely back on a bullish track, trading in a massive $45 range today from $1,242 to $1,287. At 11am PDT today, Gold is up $13 trading at $1,285 on good volume.

SILVER

Silver broke through its $17 resistance level today. Silver has moved up at a quicker pace than Gold the past couple days and needs to remain above $17 to help rebuild its bullish position among investors. Silver has also traded in a wide range today from $16.44 to $17.27. At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $17.14, up $0.30 on above average volume.
