Gold remains in the $1,220 to $1,240 per ounce trading range. Ironically, there is more volatility in the world’s equity markets than in the precious metal markets. That says a lot for the stability and long-term safe-haven investment outlook for Gold and Silver. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,223 per ounce, down $5 on active volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a surprise low of $14.35 per ounce in early trading, then briefly rallied above the $14.50 level. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.02 per ounce, trading at $14.45 on good volume.
