Gold continues in recent trading range

Gold continues to stay in its recent $15 per ounce trading range from $1,266 to $1,281. A firm move above $1,280 per ounce would be very healthy for Gold right now. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,275 per ounce, that’s up $5 on excellent volume.

SILVER

Silver woke up this morning as demand and trading volume picked up dramatically. Silver moved from a low of $16.62 to a high of $17.20 per ounce today. Demand firmed up when the spot Silver price crossed the important $17 resistance level. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.42 per ounce, trading at $17.12 on heavy trading volume.
