Gold is trading in a narrow range

Today, Gold is trading in a narrow $8 range, from $1,280 to $1,288 per ounce. Consolidation would be good for Gold if it can move up slightly and trade between the $1,280 to $1,300 area. At 11am PST today, Gold is trading at $1,287 per ounce, up $4 on normal volume.

SILVER

Silver is back to fighting to stay above the $17 per ounce resistance/support level. We saw Silver reach a high of $17.18 in early trading, then heavy selling appeared, driving the price back down to $16.90. At 11am PST today, Silver is down $0.10 per ounce, trading at $16.98 on average volume.
