Gold hit $1,251 then saw selling

Gold hit $1,251 this morning, before seeing some selling. The markets are awaiting the Fed statement which is due out at 2pm EST today. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,247 per ounce, up $6 on good volume.

SILVER

This morning Silver came close to testing the $16 level, hitting a high of $15.98 as traders await the Fed statement. At 11am PDT today, Silver trading at $15.86 per ounce, up $0.20 on normal volume.
