Gold And Silver Moving Higher On A Weak U.S. Dollar

GOLD

Precious metal prices moved higher as the U.S. Dollar index showed a little weakness. Gold reached a high of $2,655 this morning during European trading before settling back under $2,650 per ounce.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $2,646 per ounce, up $9 on normal volume.

SILVER

Silver rallied with Gold, reaching a high of $31.16 before seeing light, short-term profit taking. Silver has spent the day trading above and below the $31 level as it builds a firm base.

At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $31.04 per ounce, up $0.60 on average volume.
