Gold Building Healthy Base After Recent Breakout

Gold has traded today in a narrow $9 High/Low range, from $1,778 to $1,787 per ounce. This base building is healthy after the recent breakout above the $1,765 resistance level. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,782 per ounce, down $7 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver tested its support at the $24 per ounce level and held this morning. After the past two day rally of $1.30, reaching a high yesterday of $24.44 before seeing selling, Silver needs to build a base above $24. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.36 per ounce, trading at $24.12 on normal volume.
