Gold Rallies After Jobs Report
GOLD
Gold rallied above $1,790 today on a report from the Federal Reserve that the U.S non-farm payroll increased 1%, up 850,000 new jobs in June 2021. After this morning’s rally, Gold had some long holiday weekend selling, pushing the price down $5 per ounce. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,787 per ounce, up $12 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver reached a two-week high this morning of $26.63 per ounce on today’s jobs report. Silver appears to have found excellent support above the key $26 level. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.45 per ounce, trading at $26.48 on normal volume.
