GOLD
Gold saw some light selling this morning, reaching a low of $1,213 before finding strong buyers. A low U.S. Dollar Index (96) has helped Gold stay above the $1,220 level today. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,224 per ounce, up $2 on excellent volume.
SILVER
After reaching a low of $14.22 this morning on Asian markets, Silver has traded in the $14.40 area most of the day. I’m seeing sizeable bullish interest in Silver options and futures which is an excellent indicator. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.06 per ounce, trading at $14.44 on good volume.
