Gold Trades In Tight High/Low Spread This Morning

Gold traded between $1,272.70 and $1,279 this morning, a very tight high/low spread. A strong Euro could drive the U.S. Dollar lower tomorrow, helping the Gold price. As we move into a holiday weekend the trading volume will be weak. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,276 per ounce, unchanged from yesterday.

SILVER

Considering the current weakness in the Gold price, Silver continues to trade above and below the key $15 per ounce level. Trading volume is low in most of the world’s major commodity markets. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.02 per ounce, trading at $14.99 on low volume.
