Daily Market Report 6/6/16

GOLD

During Asian trading this morning, Gold took its first June attempt to break above the $1,250 per ounce level. Today, Gold is trading in a tight $10 high/low trading range between $1,239 and $1,249 per ounce. Janet Yellen spoke earlier today and gave no precise timing for any increase in the Federal Reserve’s interest rate. At 11am PDT today, Gold is up $4.00 per ounce, trading at $1,245 per ounce on good volume.

SILVER

Silver found a sizeable amount of bargain buyers this morning when it reached a low of $16.34 per ounce. Silver quickly moved up about a dime and has been trading actively at that level since. At 11am PDT today, Silver is trading at $16.42, up $0.08 per ounce on average volume.
