GOLD
Most traders in the world’s Gold trading pits are on hold awaiting next week’s Federal Reserve statement on the direction of short term interest rates. Gold did reach a low of $1,309.70 per ounce in early Asian trading. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,317.50 per ounce, down $4.50 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver continues to trade above and below the $19 per ounce level. Silver will take the lead from Gold next week after the Fed statement. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.05 per ounce, trading at $19.05 on normal volume.
