GOLD

Gold continues to trade in a narrow high/low price range, awaiting news that will give it short term direction. This morning Gold hit a high of $1,268 and a low of $1,261 per ounce, only a $7 range. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,267 per ounce, unchanged from Thursday’s close on average volume.

SILVER

Silver has been above and below the $17.50 per ounce level all day. Silver continues to show excellent physical and paper demand at current price levels. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.06 per ounce, trading at $17.52 on normal volume.
