Daily Market Report 11/1/16

GOLD

Gold rallied today on a weaker U.S. Dollar and new presidential polls showing an improvement for Donald Trump election chances. Gold reached a high of $1,291.30 this morning before seeing short term profit taking. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,287 per ounce, up $13 on excellent demand.

SILVER

In early trading today, Silver moved above the key $18 per ounce resistance level. At that point, stop loss purchase orders hit the exchange and the price quickly jumped an additional $0.50 per ounce. Silver hit a high of $18.51 before short term profit taking appeared. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.55 per ounce, trading at $18.40 on excellent volume.
