GOLD
Gold has started the year on a good foot, moving past $1,210 per ounce on fresh demand.
The price of Gold rose against ALL currencies in 2014 — except for the US dollar. Yes, Gold was up in the Euro, Japanese Yen, Swiss Franc, Canadian Dollar, British Pound, Australian Dollar, New Zealand Dollar, Chinese Renminbi, Indian Rupee, Swedish Krona, Brazilian Real, Israeli Shekel, and South Korean Won.
At 11am PST today, Gold is trading at $1,217 per ounce up $12 on excellent volume.
SILVER
Silver is taking its price direction from Gold, with good demand. At 11am PST today, Silver is up $0.81 per ounce, trading at $16.61 per ounce on better than average trading volume.
