GOLD

Gold has traded in a narrow price range on low volume, which is typical ahead of a holiday weekend. Gold reached a low of $1,212.70 in early Asian trading before finding bargain buyers. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,222 per ounce, down $2 on light volume.

SILVER

The Silver price is mirroring Gold today, also with low volume. U.S. physical demand for Silver investment products remains strong, with the U.S. Mint selling almost 14 million 1 ounce Silver eagles since January 1st. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.07, trading at $15.22 per ounce on light volume.
