GOLD
Gold has traded between $1,230 and $1,243 per ounce today, consolidating the price on average volume. Gold reached a low of $1,210 on April 1st, but never tested the important $1,200 per ounce support level. Physical demand remains strong, while global monetary policy remains loose, which is excellent for Gold. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,241, up $4 on average volume.
SILVER
After breaking below the key $15 support level this month, Silver reached a low of $14.79 per ounce. The Silver price has stabilized above $15 the past few trading days, reaching a high of $15.45. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.15, trading at $15.37 per ounce on normal volume.
