GOLD
Gold wasn’t able to hold over $1,250 and was sold down to $1,224 today. A stronger U.S. Dollar and lack of fresh Gold demand caused some short term profit taking. Gold is now in a short term trading range from $1,210 to $1,260 per ounce. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,225 per ounce, down $22 on average volume
SILVER
Silver has been the star this week, moving above the $16 per ounce resistance level and staying there in the face of a weaker Gold price. Silver tested its $16 level yesterday and today, and quickly rallied back above that level on excellent volume. At 11am PDT today, Silver is down $0.15, trading at $16.14 per ounce on excellent volume.
