Daily Market Report 11/12/14

GOLD

In late Gold trading yesterday, a large physical order hit the market from China, driving the spot price up to $1,172 per ounce. This morning there was a bull/bear battle on the exchanges driving the price down to $1,157 based on the continued strength of the U.S. Dollar against the Japanese Yen.

At 11am PST today, Gold is down $6, trading at $1,159 per ounce on normal volume.

SILVER

Silver has traded today in a narrow $0.25 high/low price range, from $15.56 to $15.81 per ounce on average trading volume. Global demand for physical Silver investment products continues to grow, and 2014 is likely to set an all-time record for sales of Silver Eagles and Silver Trade Units.

At 11am PST today, Silver is trading at $15.66 per ounce, down $0.09 on average trading volume.
