Daily Market Report 12/27/13

GOLD

The low volume of trading continues worldwide in the Gold pits. As Gold trades in a narrow $11 per ounce high/low range it provides no short term direction. Hopefully, on Monday the trading volume of trading will pick up, test support levels, and start a 2014 rally. At 11am PDT today, Gold is trading at $1,214 per ounce, up $2 on very light volume.

SILVER

FINALLY, Silver is staying above the $20 per ounce resistance level for most of the day. However, many floor traders with short positions aren’t covering, as trading volume is too light to confirm any breakout. At 11am PDT today, Silver is up $0.20 per ounce, trading at $20.04 per ounce on light volume.
