Silver Thrives With Little Direction From Gold

GOLD

Gold traded in a very narrow $6 high/low trading range today. That trading range was $1,310 to $1,316 per ounce in the face of a stronger U.S. Dollar. Gold continues building an excellent base above the major $1,300 support level. At 11am PT today, Gold is unchanged trading at $1,315 per ounce on normal volume.

SILVER

Silver is showing good demand above the $15.80 level this morning. This is healthy, with little to no direction coming from Gold. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.05 per ounce, trading at $15.83 on average volume.
