GOLD
Gold is trading in the same $10 High/Low range as yesterday, between $1,220 and $1,230. However, today the trading volume is lower because of the holiday weekend. The U.S. Dollar Index and 10-year Treasuries are pretty much unchanged. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,226 per ounce, up $4 on light volume.
SILVER
Silver is trading above and below the key $14.50 resistance/support level. Demand for physical Silver investment products (coins/bars) has picked dramatically in Asia and Iran. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.15 per ounce, trading at $14.49 on good volume.
