Description

Here is a 1842 $1 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar in VF condition. Designed by Christian Gobrecht, this Very Fine coin contains .77344 ounce of Silver. All 7 letters of LIBERTY are strong, and there is good detail for a 177 year old coin.

The obverse features a seated Lady Liberty, surrounded by 13 stars, with the date below. The reverse features an eagle holding an olive branch and arrows, with the denomination below.
