The spectacular feat of Moon Landing is proudly celebrated in the design of the obverse and reverse. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 Moon Landing, the obverse features the inscriptions ‘MERCURY’, ‘GEMINI’, and ‘APOLLO’ separated by moon phases. In the center is a representation of a footprint on the lunar surface. The reverse pays homage to the famous photograph “Buzz Aldrin on the Moon”. It features a reflection from the Buzz Aldrin’s helmet visor, which includes Neil Armstrong, the U.S. Flag, and the lunar lander.

This fabulous perfect-70 proof has a unique curved design. The details are razor sharp and the fields are impeccably smooth and reflective.
