Presenting a gorgeous Set of 28 American Silver Eagles. This is a COMPLETE DATE SET which means that you will receive one Eagle from each year from 1986 to 2014 comprised of coins from the Philadelphia, San Francisco, and West Point mints. The US Mint canceled the production of the 2009 Silver Eagles proofs due to a silver blank shortage but was able to continue production in 2010. Because of this, there are no 2009 Silver Eagles in existence.

Each of these spectacular $1 Silver Eagles have been graded PR69 by PCGS and contain 1 troy ounce of .999 pure silver. Dates 2006-2014 are also certified as First Strikes. The 1986-1992 coins are from the San Francisco mint, the 1993-2000 from the Philadelphia mint, and the 2001-2014 from the West Point mint. Each Eagle features crisp, well-struck devices, smooth fields and bright lustrous surfaces. These beautiful Silver Eagles will make a valuable addition to any collection or portfolio.

The U.S. Silver Eagle appeals to both investors and collectors alike. Silver Eagles contain 1oz of pure .999 Silver and are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity. The surfaces display a rendition of world-renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman's magnificent Walking Liberty design, originally used on the United States Half-Dollar coin from 1916 – 1947.

The obverse (front side) features a rendition of world-renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman's magnificent Walking Liberty design, originally used on the United States Half-Dollar coin from 1916 – 1947. As this iconic design had been one of the most beloved designs of any United States coinage of modern times, due to its demand it was revived for the Silver Eagle in 1986. The reverse (back side) is a creation of Sculptor-Engraver John Mercanti and bears a rendition of a majestic eagle grasping an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left, proudly perched below thirteen five-pointed stars.

"First Strike" coins are produced using the first die forged by the Mint, resulting in the highest quality strike and the finest detail possible.Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified "First Strike" during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and beauty.

PCGS graded coins are sonically sealed inside a plastic core piece that holds it securely within the transparent holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
