Description

Presenting a complete Set of 5 2014 Gold Kangaroo Proofs that have each graded PF70UCAM by NGC and are certified First Release. These Australian bullion coins celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Kangaroo series and are beautifully struck. Deeply mirrored fields rest below crisp devices portraying Queen Elizabeth on the obverse and the iconic red kangaroo surrounded by rays of sunlight on the reverse. This set contains one of each of the following Proofs: 1oz $100, 1/2oz $50, 1/4oz $25, 1/10oz $15, and 1/20oz $5.

First Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Release. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Release during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
