Description

Here is a 2012-P $100 Australian Year of the Dragon coin that has graded MS69 by NGC Early Releases. Part of the Perth Mint's Australian Lunar Series, this 1oz Dragon is struck from 99.99% pure Gold. Frosty fields rest below crisply struck devices. The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse showcases a traditional Chinese Dragon with a 'pearl of wisdom'. This Gold Dragon has great eye-appeal and will make an excellent addition to any collection or portfolio.

Early Release coins are minted during the first 30 days of a series' production, using the first dies forged by the Mint for that particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details, making them prized among collectors and investors both for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
