One of the most highly coveted of all modern Gold bullion coins, the Vienna Philharmonic is 24-KT Gold, and is the only regularly issued bullion coin denominated in Euros.

The coin pictured is a representation of our uncirculated 1 oz Gold Austrian Philharmonic coins. The dates of the coins you receive will vary. Mint State Gold selects the dates you will receive and feels confident you will be very pleased with the selections.

Minted at the internationally famous Austrian Mint, with a more than 800 year history of producing high-quality precious metal coinage, these exquisite bullion coins are one of the few Gold coins in the world to have been minted and circulated in two different currencies; Austrian Shillings (1989–2001) and Euros (2002–present).

Representing Austria's rich musical and cultural heritage, the inspiration for these gold bullion coins was the world famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The obverse (front side) features a harmonious montage of stringed instruments including a harp, violins, a string bass, and cellos. The reverse (back side) bears the image of the "Great Organ" which resides in Vienna's "Golden Hall" where the Orchestra performs.
