Here is a lovely 2016 100 Yuan Chinese Gold Panda graded MS70 by PCGS and certified First Strike. This Gold Panda features smooth fields and a sharp strike. The devices are crisp and have excellent detail. This 8 gram (a little over 1/4 oz) Chinese Gold Panda will please any investor.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
