Here is a 2014 500 Yuan Gold Panda that has graded an impressive MS70 by PCGS and is certified First Strike. This 1oz Gold Chinese Panda has amazing, smooth surfaces and razor sharp devices.

This 2014 Gold Panda features the Temple of Heaven on the obverse and a panda holding a branch in front of a wall of bamboo on the reverse.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
