Description

Here is a 1966 Kenya Gold 250 Shillings Commemorate coin in BU condition. This brilliant uncirculated Gold coin contains .5602 ounces of Gold and celebrates the 75th anniversary of the birth of president Jomo Kenyatta.

Designed by Norman Sillman, the obverse features a rooster holding an axe and the inscription "Father of the Kenya Nation. The reverse features a left facing bust of Jomo Kenyatta.

The coin has bright golden surfaces that shine with amazing original mint luster. The details are very nicely defined and stand sharply off smooth surfaces.
